Tyler Grant, Counseling Intern

Welcome to Hope City Counseling! I’m currently pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Faulkner University and interning here at Hope City.

I wasn’t very aware of the need for counseling until I started working in full-time student ministry nearly ten years ago. I’ve walked with countless teenagers through the trials of life and quickly realized how ill-equipped I was to help them. Journeying through this program has opened my eyes to the world of mental health in a completely new way and has equipped me to be a calm, non-anxious presence with others. I believe God has given me many gifts that will help individuals as they walk through some of the most challenging seasons of their journey.

My wife, Elizabeth, and I moved to Montgomery in 2018 and love this city! I’m excited to partner with Hope City Counseling during this season to be a beacon of hope to the entire River Region.
